INTERIM/ CONTRACT PROJECTS (Change) ENGINEER

(3 Year Contract)

SHEFFIELD/ ROTHERHAM

Circa £35k p.a. + Excellent benefits inc Bupa

COMPANY INFORMATION:

Our client is a worldwide leader and innovator in the production of materials for the global metals industry. They require two experienced Project Engineers to join their established and experienced team, based at their head offices in the Sheffield area. Alongside this site they also have additional sites in the U.K. As a business they export well over 70% of their production internationally and they currently reach almost every part of the globe.

There is a specific focus on health and safety at this company along with continuous improvement initiatives at all levels. They are about to embark on a period of change and as such they would like to recruit like minded individuals who can implement such changes across the site.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Experience of implementing change within a manufacturing/ heavy
engineering environment
Degree / HND or equivalent within Mechanical Engineering.
Excellent working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic plant and systems.
At least 5 years or more experience within high volume manufacturing environment delivering capital projects.
Experience of implementing change within a heavy engineering/ manufacturing environment

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

A good working knowledge of SCADA and
A good understanding of quality, health and safety issues
The ability to produce and modified CAD/ Engineering drawings

To provide a cost-effective project design, management and implementation service to the company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in taking the business forward through this period of change.
