My client is a not for profit organisation based in the centre of Sheffield who require an Interim Head of Finance for a period of 6 months.
This position will report into the on site Director of Finance and will require the successful candidate to maintain agreed accounting principles, budgetary control and financial reporting systems, preparation and presentation of the annual budget, preparation and interpretation of monthly management accounts, collection of cash and credit income, VAT and taxation returns and maintenance of a system for dealing with matters relating to personnel issues.
This position will have direct responsibility for the HR and IT departments and as a result my client is looking for a hands on Accountant who has experience of the wider running of a company and can multitask effectively.
