PayrollAssistant required for Sheffield - reference 1128380.This is a fantastic offer of a year long contract and may lead to future long term career progression.
My client is a renowned manufacturing company based in Sheffield with a annual turnover of over £100 million, they are market leaders in their industry. Due to a period of transition within the Finance team my client requires temporary cover for a maternity contract of one year. This is a part time position and would ideally suit someone looking to commit to approximately 24 hours.
My client is keen to engage a candidate who can adapt quickly to new environments andconfidently process a weekly payroll of over 200 employees. A full working handover will be given to the successful candidate and you will be trained on two separate payroll systems for a period of two months before independently controlling the payroll.
You need to be able to demonstrate on application that you can work to tight deadlines, manage your time effectively and liaise with internal and external bodies.
You must demonstrate on application that can complete the following tasks or have held a similar role previously;
- Monthly payroll for 60 staff
- Weekly payroll for 200 staff
- Inputting time sheets
- Manual bonus calculations
- Daily reconciliations
- Payment runs via BACS
- Payroll administration, P45'S,P60'S, SMP , SSP, NI , holiday calculations
- Dealing internal and external queries Ideally you will have a strong working knowledge of Excel.
