A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Representative to join a very successful and established manufacturing company within the Barnsley area!!!
This position is imperative to add strength to the fantastic Customer Service, Client Management and smooth Order processing the very strong existing team of 3 already provides.
This is also an immediate start for the successful candidate!!!
Your role will consist of managing customers orders you receive via email, post, fax or telephone, validating the orders by ensuring the products specified are correct, matching order numbers against products, and inputting the orders on to the in-house system. You will be allocated your own customers to manage, you will need to liaise with your customers regularly via email or over from the minute the order is received right through to the order being dispatched & then following up the after care customer service to ensure the order is to their satisfaction.
You will need to liaise regularly with the manufactures to receive an update’s on your customer’s orders status which you can then feedback to your customers accurately.
You will also need to deal with any customer quires that come in as well as be prepared to deal with any customer complaints in a clam, polite and professional manner.

• To ensure customers are kept up to date on their orders progress
• To ensure customers are given accurate information at all times.
Experience needed
• Experience of customer service in a industrial office environment (call centre customer service experience is not relevant to this position)
• Experience of working in customer service for a business that sells products they manufacture and/or distribute
• Experience of order processing essential
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment a strong advantage
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS office
We are looking for an experienced individual who is organised, able to multi task and able to deliver excellent customer service at all times. You need to be able to talk to people on all levels and be able to solve any problems or complaints professionally, efficiently and in a timely manner.
This position is initially to cover maternity leave for 1 year however there is a good chance that you will be taken on permanently after this time.
In reward for this you will receive a good salary of £13,000 per annum as well as a company pension and health care.
The hours are office hours Monday – Friday.
