Exceptional opportunity in Chesterfieldfor a Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA) from Public Practice or an experienced Internal Auditor to join amarket leading, international multi-site,listed organisation in the role of Internal Auditor. This position has a very definite two to three year route to Financial Controller. Already well established as a market leader, the group has continued to increase it'sshareof both new and establishedmarkets through apolicy of ongoing investment, a program which has totalled £75m in the last three years alone. Working from the UK group head office in Derbyshire, you will support the Head of Audit, the Audit Committee and divisional senior managers by auditing the control of business processes through operational and financial audits, including subsidiaries, branches and accounting units. You will take full ownership of category audits, including the planning, scoping and reporting phases as well as taking a key role in the annual corporate governance and risk management programs. The group has a clear policy of continually developing their employees careers andview entry in to the organisation though the Internal Audit department a key to developing a strategic and operational overview of the group. Clear career paths into mainstream divisional finance roles are actively planned out, and you would be encouraged to consider these after the first two years.
