    Out Client, a well established, fast growing and successful metal forging Company, is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Executive.

    The main responsibilities will include generating the business through the conversion of enquiries into order and developing the key accounts and customer partnerships. The Candidate will be expected to maximise profit and added value opportunities, to achieve and exceed sales targets and to maintain a high level of customer service.

    Duties:

    · Generating enquiries.
    · Providing estimates – including hire work estimates if applicable.
    · Producing quotations, follow-up’s and order closing.
    · Developing a customer base through telephone contact and customer visits if applicable.
    · Canvassing / cold calling.
    · Market research
    · Maintaining customer records.
    · Generate order acknowledgments.
    · Undertake sales order review procedure.
    · Create materials conversion paperwork.
    · General liaison with production control and order progressing.
    · Sourcing and purchasing of raw materials.
    · Other reasonable duties and instructions issued by line manager.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    · Selling & negotiation skills – including cold calling and canvassing
    · Product knowledge of steels and their capabilities

    Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 4.30pm Friday 8.15am to 4.00pm OR Monday to Thursday 9.15am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.15am to 5pm (on a rotational basis with others in the department).

    Holiday entitlement will be 25 days plus 8 statutory bank holiday - 33 days per annum.

    Salary will be £18,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience.
