My client provides asset maintenance and upgrade services across the Water, Waste water, Gas, Electricity, Civil Engineering and Multi Utility industries operating term and project based contracts for the majority of the UK’s major utilities organisations. It has a portfolio of “blue chip clients nationwide and overseas with a turnover of circa £650 million per annum. As a people business employing over 5500 personnel, our client will continue to develop and recruit high calibre individuals to support its active management team and highly skilled workforce.
My client are currently looking to expand their team of Helpline Co-ordinators preferably with some Plant/Building experience.
The role purpose:
A key member of the Helpline team with the day to day responsibility of ensuring all requirements from operations and contracts are met in line with procurement strategies while meeting the agreed level of service.
Key Accountabilities:
Sourcing of all operated and non operated plant items for all projects and schemes throughout the UK. .
Key Duties:
Receive and evaluate requests from site personnel for goods and services via telephone, fax and email
Place orders with suppliers using negotiated rates and inputting data directly on to the Supply Chain database
Ensure all purchase orders are placed, accurately, on time and to specification.
To return all query invoices to the Accounts department within 24hrs either passed or queried
To take ownership of any given task and complete by the agreed deadline
To document all issues relating to the helpline in relation to suppliers, operations, quality and other key stakeholders.
