A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone to work with a fast growing business
The department will deliver services to an existing client base, including the support and further development of existing software; 2) to redevelop online suite of products.
Our goal is to develop some cutting-edge online software. It will be a fast moving environment with a focus on quality and delivery.
We need the candidate to be enthusiastic about developing QUALITY online interfaces, taking into account rich media tools like AJAX to really make the products stand out. Attention to detail in code and deliverables is important.
We will work with a number of contracted senior developers and graphic designers to bring a level of industry expertise to our new team. They will be supported by the Web Development Manager.
All candidates will be asked to get involved in all aspects of software development from architecture to time management, not just code cutting.
Client facing skills are important. There will be a requirement to attend development meetings with the client and also deal with technical enquiries over the phone
Primary products are in PHP, MySQL, ASP.NET C# and SQL 2005. We believe it is important for developers to have working knowledge of different industry standards and will encourage them to grow their skillset and be able to develop in both ASP.NET and PHP technology. The initial focus for this role will be PHP. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of work
The role will be based in Sheffield.
