Affiliate Manager
£16,000 - 20,000 pa plus uncapped commission
The Role
One of the key marketing strategies of the company is to gain new website members through partnerships with other websites and companies. The role will involve maintaining and improving existing relationships, dealing with and maximising the relationships with affiliate networks, Identifying potential new partners, contacting them, selling the idea and seeing the agreement through to completion, coordinating and writing specifications for the design of new emails and adverts and getting new and existing partners to promote them as well typical week will involve making telephone calls, key client meetings and internal discussions with the marketing, design and sales teams.
The Successful Candidate.
Must understand the concept of affiliate/partnership marketing and be able to put it into practice, must be comfortable with cold calling and establishing contact with decision makers and be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. You will need to have sound IT skills and experience of using MS Office on a daily basis as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate an ability to utilise sales skills in a marketing environment and ability to be proactive and make things happen, as well as being someone who can slot in with the team and work well in a busy office setting!
